My name is Jessica Stewart, and I work as a CICA Paralegal at JF Law. In my role, I assist clients who have experienced sexual assault and physical injuries to pursue compensation through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).
The cases I deal with are often life-changing for the people I represent. Because of this, I place great importance on showing compassion, professionalism, and understanding at every stage of the process. I know that speaking about such traumatic experiences can be extremely difficult, which is why I always put the client’s needs first.
Working on CICA claims is deeply rewarding. Knowing that I have helped someone in need access the support and compensation they deserve makes the challenges of this work worthwhile. Every successful outcome not only provides financial help but also offers recognition of the trauma my clients have suffered.
I have always had a passion for justice. Being part of the CICA team allows me to combine that passion with my commitment to helping survivors of abuse and violence.
